ABOUT THIS TOUR
On this unique journey through the most ancient and remarkable cities in Britain. Explore London, the famous capital remains one of the world's most cosmopolitan cities, and diversity infuses daily life, food, music, and fashion. Visit the citys landmarks, such as the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, and Big Ben. Continue to Durham, and en route stop in Cambridge, known for the worlds most famous universities. Then head to York, one of the oldest cities in England. Continue your journey by crossing into Scotland. Discover the major highlights of Scotland. The tour will start in Scotlands Capital city, Edinburgh, where you will enjoy a guided tour of the historical city. Admire the Edinburgh Castle. Travel through the highland, stop in the Victorian mountain resort of Pitlochry, and admire its Scottish Baronial architecture. Continue your journey to spend the night in the Highland capital of Inverness and prepare for a day of glorious Scottish scenery on your drive along the shores of Loch Ness. We proceed to Glasgow and explore the eclectic streets of Glasgow. We then head to Dublin via Belfast. We explore the iconic sights of Dublin. We will continue to Stratford, the hometown of Shakespeare, and finally arrive in London, where your tour ends.

Welcome to London! On arrival at the airport, we will be waiting to transfer you to the hotel. Later in the day, your guide will give an overview of the tour or you can check the information panels in the hotel reception area.

Day 2: London (B/-/-)
Location: London
Today after breakfast, get to know London on a guided tour featuring style, culture, and history. See Westminster, the Houses of Parliament, the River Thames, the Tower of London, and Buckingham Palace, where we shall be able to watch the famous “Changing of the Guard” (depending on the season). Free afternoon. In the evening, we will meet at a meeting point in Piccadilly to walk to Leicester Square, China Town and Soho with its amazing atmosphere, its theatres and bustle. Time for dinner in this area with numerous ethnic restaurants (Indian, Thai, Chinese, international, and so on). Return to the hotel from Piccadilly.

Day 3: London - Cambridge - York - Durham (B/-/-)
Location: London
In the morning, after breakfast, we start the day leaving London towards northern England. Our first stop is Cambridge to admire its beautiful residential colleges. After lunch, we will continue to York where its cathedral, Roman walls and lively shopping streets will create a charming memory, some free time to stroll around. Afterwards, we will continue north to Duram. Explore this charming medieval town full of life which has a wonderful cathedral right in front of the castle.

Day 4: Durham - Alnwick - Edinburgh (B/-/-)
Location: Edinburgh
Once breakfast is done, today we will travel to Scotland, stopping in Alnwick, a picturesque town with lovely gardens and a large medieval castle which was used in the Harry Potter films. We will continue to Edinburgh, arriving at noon. This is Scotlands capital city and one of the most active cities in Northern Europe. Its monumental center has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its castle overlooks the citys steep streets and parks. We will enjoy a sightseeing tour with a local guide.

Day 5: Edinburgh – Pitlochry – Inverness – Loch Ness - Glasgow (B/-/-)
Location: Edinburgh, Inverness, Glasgow
Enjoy breakfast, We continue to enjoy the stunning landscapes of the Scottish Highlands with a coffee and stroll in Pitlochry, a charming little village. We will continue and pass by Inverness in the north of Scotland, a city located very near the mysterious Loch Ness. After lunch, we visit (entrance included) the Urquhart medieval castle, and from here we will take a boat trip on the dark waters of the lake. Afterward, we will pass through Fort August with its sluice gate system, and Fort William, the tourist center at the foot of Ben Nevis (the highest summit in the United Kingdom). We will return south through the high plateaus where it is possible to glimpse the snow before visiting Loch Lomond, one of the most popular lakes in Scotland. We arrived in Glasgow at the end of the day. A short stroll around the city center and accommodation.

Day 6: Glasgow - Belfast - Dublin (B/-/-)
Location: Glasgow, Belfast, Dublin
Today after breakfast, we will leave Glasgow heading towards southern Scotland. We will board a ferry in Cairnryan. Our journey takes us towards Northern Ireland, arriving in Belfast, Northern Irelands capital city. This monumental city is overcoming its religious conflicts. We will resume our journey to Eire in Ireland. The last stop will be Dublin, arriving at the end of the day.

Day 7: Dublin (B/-/-)
Location: Dublin
Post breakfast, we start the day with a sightseeing tour of Dublin, Irelands peaceful capital city. We will enjoy a stroll on the banks of River Liffey, visiting its parks, old university and its lively downtown streets. We will stroll around Trinity College (depending on the duration of sunlight, this visit may take place the afternoon before, upon arrival in Dublin). I have free time during the afternoon.

Day 8: Dublin - Caernarfon - Liverpool (B/-/-)
Location: Liverpool
After breakfast this morning, we will board a ferry in the early morning. After a journey of three hours, we will arrive in Wales. We will visit Caernarfon, a World Heritage site by the sea overlooked by an impressive castle. There will be time for lunch and a stroll. We continue to Liverpool, where we will take a short bus ride through the city, a World Heritage Site and the second part of the United Kingdom and you will have a chance to visit The Beatles Story Exhibition.

Day 9: Liverpool - Stratford - Oxford - London (B/-/-)
Location: London
After breakfast, today we explored central England. We will visit Stratford Upon Avon, Shakespeares hometown. Free time to have lunch and a stroll. Afterward, we will travel to Oxford, a town that is synonymous with study and culture. Kings, statesmen, philosophers, and scientists have studied here! We will continue to London, arriving in the late afternoon.

What happens if I need to change my holiday date once I’ve booked?
Changes to an existing reservation up to the Final Payment Date, whatever the cause, will incur a $100 per person amendment fee, potential loss of any supplier fees (such as non-refundable event tickets, park permits, and sea cruise reservations) plus any costs for replacement services. On/ after the Final Payment Date, the $100 change fee is no longer valid, instead cancellations terms apply.
