Tour Overview
Windswept with mountain passes, labyrinthine coastlines and picturesque towns, we explore the unspoilt highlights of County Donegal in the stunning north west of Ireland on this delightful break. We take in some of the breathtaking coastal scenery from different perspectives, including a cruise around Donegal Bay and a scenic drive along the Wild Atlantic Way, which struts proudly as the world’s longest defined coastal route. We also admire the panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean from the incredible Slieve League Cliffs and discover the history of the area with a fascinating visit to the Glencolmcille Folk Village.
Itinerary
Day 1 : Donegal
The breath-taking scenery of Donegal County cannot fail to seduce all who come on a coach holiday to explore this spectacular region.. With soaring sea cliffs, stunning landscapes, miles of deserted white sandy beaches and striking ancient sites, you won’t be disappointed.
Day 2 : Dublin
The fair city of Dublin is a beautiful medieval city, with a long and colourful past - its museums, art galleries and wonderful architecture, all chronicling its fascinating history.
Tracing its origins back to a small Viking settlement, it has much history to offer its visitors. See the Book of Kells, written around 800AD, one of the most beautifully illustrated manuscripts in the world or visit the many castles in the area.
