Delhi Palaces Ganges - 12 days

India was a wonderful place & I fell in love with the place and the people within a very short period of time. Our guide, Yusuf, was professional & couldn’t have been more fun or helpful. He made the tour better than we could have hoped. A real asset to On the Go. I know that I’ll return to India and I’ll be using On the Go again when I do. Overall, it was an great experience.

This tour met all of my expectations our tour guide was fantastic he went out of his way to accommodate us all, very helpful and able to answer all of our questions. He was able to deal with all difficult situations and we did have some. I will be recommending this tour and will use On The Go again.

We completed a hard copy feedback but in summary tour was great and I wouldn't change anything, except maybe hotel in Delhi.

We loved our time in India and our guide Yusuf was absolutely brilliant. We also had fantastic guides in Mumbai and Cochin. Das, our driver in Kerala was also amazing. All went smoothly with transfers and flights and we would recommend doing India again with On the Go. Thankyou so much Rachna for putting this lifetime trip together for the 6 of us. We will be in touch.

Sam has good local knowledge and language skills. He is a good tour guide with good interpersonal communication skills. He needs to keep to scheduled sight seeings. Sam need to improve on group organizational skills, when it comes to interstate travel by air and train. While other group tourist were managed to stay as one group, our group ended up separated. Pre organized 1st class train seating was not organized / achieved, creating disappointment. His organized evening entertainments were good and appreciated as well as the boat cruise at night on the Ganges.

I would like to say how wonderful and amazing our Tour was to India especially a big mention our tour guide Satendra Sharma, he has a wonderful kind heart, impeccable knowledge, nothing was any problem. He worked long hours to make sure our trip was memorable and he went over and beyond his job. I still think about the tour, we were lucky to have a wonderful group of people and extra lucky to have Satendra. If there is anywhere I can put a recommendation for him please advise. I had a friend Fiona Baker that did the tour back in May 2017 and also had Satendra and she advised me before I went that I was in for a amazing tour, we both would come back possibly to do a private tour with him. I have told all my friends about ON THE GO TOURS and highly recommend the high quality and pricing is very reasonable for what you receive. From the moment Sammy met me at the airport I felt in safe hands. He was professional yet easy going and friendly, well organised and calm. The group met for a briefing the next morning and then we were off. And I absolutely loved every minute of the next 13 days. We saw amazing things and people, went to astonishingly wonderful places and throughout, Sammy managed to gently herd us along without us ever feeling managed. At Varanasi we were all stuffed in pairs into tuc tucs and sent off into the pre dawn traffic mayhem of the 3 day Puja there. Sammy somehow materialised at the riverside (20mins ride away) and got us all into a boat and onto the water to see the magical sunrise. I never worked out how he did that! And it was all with implacable calm. He was funny and fun, informative and interesting, organised and efficient and brought out the best in the group. He is a brilliant ambassador for India and all its wondrousness. I Loved the entire tour and would like to nominate Sammy for an award

As I have said with feedback form given to me by Yusuf, it was through Yusuf, that I was not only able to enjoy ( apart from excessive heat) but feel safe. He was in control of any situation that might crop up, which left me and others feeling safe in what a trip in India represents, some interesting, though exciting challenges. I found the tour a very educational experience. It is hard to believe that people still live like that in this day and age. The support and work that On The Go Tours into small villages is fantastic. I would like to know some more information on how I could contribute on a regular basis. Satish was handed a couple of challenging situations and handled himself very professionally. Satish also went out of his way to ensure that everyone was happy and did not miss out on anything. My partner and I missed on going to the jeweler visit the rest of the group went on, due us choosing to do the bolt on Balloon Ride. Satish was able to find us another jeweler at another one of our stop overs for us to visit. He also greatly assist me in organizing a surprise birthday cake for my partners birthday. I was lucky enough to have Satish sit with me one afternoon and shared a drink and chat, giving me a great incite to his and Indian life.

The tour was well organised and covered a lot of ground. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the whole trip very enjoyable as well as feeling safe.
