Local departure by coach, then via ferry on to Isle of Wight and our hotel for four nights. You will receive a warm welcome at the Channel View hotel with glass of mulled wine and mince pie on arrival. Enjoy a relaxed dinner with your fellow travelers and then evening entertainment.
Day 2 Christmas Eve - Island Tour
Location: Christmas Eve - Island Tour
Today we’ll explore the ‘diamond isle’ on a scenic tour. We’ll call at Alum Bay, famous for its coloured sands, and the nearby magnificent chalks Needles, the remains of a ridge which once joined the island the mainland. We also visit pretty Yarmouth, a bustling town with a natural harbour. Stroll down Yarmouth Pier and enjoy the stunning view.
Return back to the hotel to enjoy dinner and evening entertainment.
Day 3 Christmas Day At Leisure
Location: Christmas Day at leisure
Merry Christmas! Relax in Shanklin, open some presents, tuck into a traditional turkey christmas lunch, and enjoy the festive atmosphere in the hotel with your fellow travellers. A light festive buffet is included in the evening followed by festive quiz.
Day 4 Boxing Day In Ryde
Location: Boxing Day in Ryde
This morning we take a trip to Ryde, once much loved by Queen Victoria when she used to holiday on the island with Victorian architecture still around the town. At the heart of the town is a fantastic range of independent and eclectic shops, including a year-round Christmas store!
Day 5
We depart the hotel this morning, filled with magical Christmas memories, and return home.
