We visit Innsbruck, overlooked by the Karwendel Alps, where sights include the famous Golden Roof. Explore some of the city’s sights, such as Hofburg Palace, the Old Town and bustling Maria Theresien Strasse. We’ll also call at pretty Rattenberg, famous for its glass blowing heritage.

Today we visit medieval Kitzbuhel, in one of Austria’s largest ski regions. This wonderful little town is surrounded by alpine scenery and has a picturesque town centre.

After a morning at leisure, join our optional excursion to the largest alpine lake in the Tyrol, Lake Achensee. Known as the ‘Fjord of the Alps’.
Achensee is a natural beauty spot, with its eye-catching water colours ranging from emerald green to ultramarine, alongside its mountain scenery, it’s easy to see why it is such a popular destination. During the day why not join our optional cruise on the lake, during which coffee and cake will be served on board. It is a great way to be able to relax and enjoy the scenery.
