Tour Overview
The spectacular Dolomites comprises of a mountain range in the northern Italian Alps, boasting 18 peaks. It features some of the most beautiful mountain landscapes in the world, with vertical walls, sheer cliffs and narrow, deep and long valleys, and we’ll take in these amazing sights on this fantastic winter holiday. With an included excursion to picturesque Merano with its historic architecture, and the opportunity to also explore popular Bolzano, join us for an enchanting Italian winter escape.

Day 2 : Arrive Fondo

Continuing south, we travel through Germany and Austria and into Italy, arriving in Fondo, where we stay for four nights.
Day 3 : Merano

After a leisurely morning and lunch in the hotel, we visit Merano, a picturesque town in northern Italy where we’ll find stunning medieval architecture, including fairy tale castles, churches and narrow alleyways. Renowned for its spa resorts, the town is located within a basin surrounded by mountains, at the entrance to the Passeier Valley.
We’ll get to spend the day here, taking in the superb sights and attractions during our excursion.
Day 4 : Bolzano

Enjoy an optional excursion to Bolzano, where we’ll be able to spend a few hours discovering the many sights in this city. Relax and take in the stunning Alpine views, and explore the specialist shops whilst browsing for souvenirs. See the main sights such as the statue of Walther von der Vogelweide on Walther Square, the Gothic Bolzano Cathedral and the Bolzano Victory Monument.

The Dolomites feature an incredible variety of diverse landscapes, from lush valleys to towering peaks, as well as breathtaking panoramas at every turn.
