Your Treasures of Poland, including Krakow, Warsaw and Wroclaw Holiday Overview Discover the beautiful pastel buildings and gothic churches of Warsaw, Krakow and Wroclaw with us on our 6-night Treasures of Poland holiday. We’ll start our trip with a guided panoramic tour of the sprawling city of Warsaw, where we’ll visit sites like Zamkowy Square, Wilanow Park & Lazienki Palace. As we continue our journey towards Krakow, we’ll stop at Jasna Gora Pauline Monastery to see the miraculous ‘Black Madonna’. A guided walking tour of Krakow, the old Polish capital, will take us to St. Mary's Church and the Royal Tombs, the final resting place of 13 Polish kings. In Wroclaw, we’ll discover the key monuments that give this city such rich culture and take a day trip to explore the nearby Ksiaz Castle and Peace Church of Swidnica. With leisure time included in each city for you to sightsee, shop and relax, you’ll be sure to uncover all the treasures of Poland.

Day 1 : Arrive In Warsaw

We have arrived! We meet our local representative and transfer to our hotel.
Let’s enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to settle in, relax, and get to know our surroundings.
This evening, we join our fellow travellers for a welcome dinner at our hotel. An evening meal is also included for each of the five remaining hotel nights of our tour.

Day 2 : Discover Warsaw On A Guided Tour

Location: Warsaw

Let’s discover Warsaw on a full day guided excursion; first stop includes a visit to the “Polish Versailles” Wilanow Palace. Uncover the beauty of the Wilanow Palace (entrance included) and Wilanow Park, an integral part of the Palace. Tourists flock here from all over the world to admire the once Royal Gardens of King Jan III who spent many hours in his horticultural retreat. Uncover the beauty of the charming and unique Wilanow Park before we stop for lunch (not included).
Experience more of Warsaw with a guided panoramic sightseeing tour of the city; including the Old Town with Zamkowy Square, Lazienki Park and the Royal Route passing by numerous historic buildings, churches, and monuments.
We return to our hotel to relax and unwind after a day of discovery.

Day 3 : Czestochowa - Jasna Gora Pauline Moastery And The Black Madonna

Location: Częstochowa, Jasna Góra

This morning we say farewell to Warsaw and transfer to Krakow. Enroute we stop at one of the most important spiritual destinations on this tour, Częstochowa, where Pope John Paul II visited many times. Experience the Jasna Gora Pauline Monastery, known for its miraculous picture of Our Lady, called the “Black Madonna” due to its discolouration from candles lit in supplication.
After some time at leisure, we continue our journey towards one of the treasures of Poland – Krakow!
Arriving in the evening into Krakow; we settle into our hotel and soak up the atmosphere of this charming and historic city, where we will spend the next two nights.

Day 4 : Experience Krakow

Krakow at Leisure
There is so much to discover in and around Krakow; shop in the old Cloth Hall with its small craft stalls; soak up the atmosphere of the main square Rynek Glowney and watch the world go by in one of the many cafes. Of course, one can’t leave Krakow before trying some Polish delicacies, including delicious pastries, or Pierogi; “Polish dumplings”, a must for any visit to Poland!
Visit some of the historic places of interest including Schindler's Factory, the Rynek underground museum, take a relaxing cruise on the Vistula or enjoy a leisurely walk through the historic Jewish Quarter; there is so much to choose from.

Day 5 : Wroclaw Old Town, Cathedral Island And Aula Leopoldina

This morning we leave Krakow and transfer to Wroclaw, one of the oldest and most charming cities in Poland, where we will spend the next two nights. On arrival we experience more with a guided tour of Wroclaw Old Town including Cathedral Island, Market Square with the Town Hall, Wrocław University (including entrance) to the Watchtower and Aula Leopoldina.

Day 6 : Highlights Of Świdnica

Today we set off and see more of the beautiful countryside surrounding Wroclaw. First stop on our journey is Świdnica. Here we uncover another of Poland’s treasures, one of the largest timber-framed Baroque buildings in Europe: the Peace Church of Swidnica, before enjoying some time for lunch (not included).
Discover Książ Castle
Experience more as we discover one of the three biggest castles in Poland, Książ Castle, home to over 400 rooms! It is filled with the rich and dark history of previous occupants, from the aristocratic Hochberg family, to the German high command during WWII and the haunting history of the last owners. Dare to look into the dark corners of this castle as it is alleged that the wife of the last owner, Maria Teresa Von Hohberg (Daisy), still wanders around the castle’s rooms and garden terraces to this day.
We return to Wroclaw to relax after our adventure.

Day 7 : Wroclaw At Leisure & Return Home

Location: Wrocław

Today we enjoy some free time to experience the charms of Wroclaw.
Shop till you drop in upmarket boutiques and shopping malls and perhaps buy some last-minute souvenirs. Wander the streets on the lookout for one of Wroclaw’s most famous attractions the “Krasnale” : little people, or gnomes. These ubiquitous little charmers are dotted all over Wroclaw. It is impossible to leave this city without taking a few Instagram shots of these little fellows, making more memorable moments before we depart for home.
Depart Wroclaw Poland
Later, we say a fond farewell to Poland and treasure the memories of our journey and newfound friends, as we depart to Wroclaw Airport for our homeward flight.
