Day 1 - 2 : Days 1-2: Arrive Delhi

Fly to Delhi for a two-night stay. Your National Escort or Local Guide from Wendy Wu Tours will meet you at the Delhi International Airport in the Arrivals Hall. Together with other group members who may be arriving at a similar time, you will transfer 45 minutes to your hotel and check-in.
Day 3: Delhi

This morning the tour introduction will either be held in the hotel or on the coach.
After your breakfast we will embark on a full-day of sightseeing around Old and New Delhi. Next, travel to Khari Baoli Spice Market and enjoy a rickshaw ride before visiting Jama Masjid. Continue to Lakshmi Marayan Hindu Temple, followed by a brief photo stop at India Gate. End your day with a visit to Humayun's Tomb and the Quatab Minar.
Day 4: Delhi To Jaipur

Drive to Jaipur. On arrival visit the Turban Museum, enjoying a demonstration on Turban Tying and how to wear it. You will get to take these with you as a memento. Have lunch at the restaurant before checking in at your hotel, where you can relax until dinner.
Day 5: Jaipur

After breakfast, make a brief photo stop at the Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds) from the outside. Next, take a jeep ride from the bus park to the entrance of Amber Fort. You will also visit Maharaja's City Palace, Jantar Mantar Observatory and Choti Choper.
This afternoon, pay a visit a nearby craft centre for the opportunity to try your hand at block printing and carpet weaving.
Day 6: Jaipur To Pushkar

This morning, transfer to Pushkar. Upon arrival, take time to explore the local markets and admire the Brahma Temple before heading to your hotel for check-in.
Later today you will participate in a private Religious ceremony on the Ghats of the Sarovar (lake). Pushkar Lake is considered one of the ten holiest sites in the world. You will also participate in the evening Aarti ceremony before returning to your hotel.
Day 7: Pushkar To Udaipur

After breakfast drive to Udaipur and check-in at your hotel. Later this afternoon you will visit the Vintage and Classic Car Museum, showing a collection of some of the rarest classic and vintage cars. This museum is owned by the Royal Family of Udaipur and located in the premises of the Garden Hotel, outside the City Palace complex. It is in these gardens that you will sit down to a delightful High Tea before returning to your hotel.

Day 12: Christmas Eve - Ranthambore To Agra

To end off this magical Christmas Day, you will enjoy a live musical drama - Mohabbat the Taj - a show depicting the romantic love story of Emperor Shahjahan and his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. This is a true Bollywood experience.

What documents will I receive before I travel?
Your Final Travel Documents are usually sent to you 2-3 weeks prior to your departure. Your travel pack will include your tour itinerary, hotel details, flight e-tickets and a travel guide. If you have booked with a travel agent, your tickets will be dispatched to your travel agent unless we have been otherwise informed.

Will I be travelling with passengers from other countries?
Our passengers generally enjoy the mixture of British, Australian and American clients on tour. Occasionally we are joined by English-speaking passengers from other countries.

What is 'Happy to Share'?
Customers booking to travel solo can choose our ‘Happy to Share’ option, which may enable them to share a twin room with other solo customers of the same gender who also request Happy to Share, thus avoiding the need to pay single room supplements. Note that ‘Happy to Share’ requests can be received when you make your booking with us but will not be confirmed until your final payment due date. If a share partner is found, the Single Supplement will be removed from your booking. If a share partner is not found, the Single Supplement will remain and is payable with your final balance in line with our normal booking conditions. Either way, our Operations Team will contact you around 75 days before departure to let you know whether a share partner has been found or not. We regret that Happy to Share requests cannot be accepted within 75 days of departure. Wendy Wu Tours reserves the right to change or withdraw this arrangement at any time.

We allow children 12 years and over on our group tours. We recommend that families with children of any age take advantage of our private or tailormade tours. This will give you more flexibility while on tour.
